Career Questions

What qualifications do I need to work in security?+
A valid BC Security Worker Licence is required. We can assist candidates who are in the process of obtaining their licence. Emergency First Aid certification is also required and can be funded by us.
Do you provide training and certification?+
Yes. Fireball Security provides company-funded training for Security Worker Basic, Emergency First Aid, and De-Escalation & Tactical Communications. Advanced certifications are available after probation.
What are the typical working hours?+
We offer a range of shifts including 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts across days, evenings, and nights. Full-time, part-time, and casual positions are available depending on the role.
How quickly can I start working?+
Once your background check is clear and your licence is verified, you can typically start within 1-2 weeks of your offer. We work to get qualified candidates deployed as quickly as possible.
What benefits do you offer?+
After completing probation, employees receive medical and dental coverage, paid overtime, paid statutory holidays, a $300 referral bonus, and travel allowance for applicable roles.
